Chapter 1

On a Monday morning in February...

*knock knock* CT opens the door to the small conference room before a reply was given. Inside the room sits Lee Shin, he would use that room whenever he visits the agency.

"Yes?" Shin said, without looking up, as he lay on the sofa reading a thick book.

"Shin, meet your assistant... Yoon Eunhye ssi..." CT introduced the new assistant.

Shin looks up from his book and peeped at Eunhye through his reading glasses for a second and lowered his eyes again.

"Eun Hye ssi, from now on you will be Shin's personal assistant... " CT announced.

"Annyeong haseyo! I'm Eunhye, nice to meet you!" Eunhye greeted nervously, but she tried to hide the anxiety in her voice.

It is Eunhye's second job after working as a coordinator with another music label for 4 years until the company had to close down a month ago, losing to the fight against music piracy. Fortunately her previous company was able to recommend some other jobs to their staff and Eunhye was matched to this one. Eunhye doesn't care what kind of job it is for now, she needed a new one to support her family, and this job seems to offer what she wanted, an industry she's familiar with and work she think that she would exel in.

"Shin, Eunhye ssi will start work today, and I have more things to brief her on, we will see you again later." with that, CT closes the door behind her and pulled Eunhye into another meeting room so that she can brief Eunhye on the job scope.




"I'm sure you two will get along just fine, Eunhye ssi." CT tries to assure Eunhye.

"CT, you can call me Eunhye, just as I address you as CT, let's not be so formal with each other."

CT smiles and nods in agreement.

"As I'd told you Eunhye, you need alot of patience with Shin, we know he can be demanding at times but please try to understand, he's under alot of pressure being as we are putting our hopes on him to be the top-selling singer under our label this year.." An woman in her mid 40s, CT is one of the pioneers of the firm and highly respected in the industry for her foresight in recognising and nurturing talent.

"This is his schedule for this week... and ermmm.. make sure you get him what he wants and if you are able to pull through this week, I'll give you the schedule for the following weeks to come...

"Ok CT, no problem! I'll try my best!" Eunhye said, beaming her brightest smile at CT. With Shin out of her sight she's regained her usual cheerful self.

Eunhye hasn’t heard of Shin as he has yet to launch his album. Shin is the new secret weapon of the company. Young, goodlooking and CT said he’s got the best voice that she has ever heard. Well, Eunhye decides to find out for herself later.

"Oh yah, Eunhye, since you live outside of Seoul, it maybe more convenient to move into our company's apartment, are you good moving in tonight?"

"Sure!!" Eunhye can't help but giggle at the thought... she'd wanted to move out of her parents' home in Incheon since she started working, commuting more than 2 hours to and fro everyday is no joke... now that she didn't have to pay for accommodation, she'll jump at the chance!

"Gosh, this is the dream job of many girls... assistant to a star-to-be, if he becomes really famous I would be the envy of many!!" Eunhye said to herself... she picks up her cell phone and called home.

"Omma~ this is Eunhye... Omma, I’m offered the new job today, Omma! But Omma.... the new company wants me to move into their hostel.... neh Omma... I'll take care of myself! Don't worry about me Omma... I'll call you again in a few days neh, bye Omma!"




Meanwhile in the room....

Shin couldn't believe whom he'd seen just now, that new assistant CT brought in to meet him just now... his heart is beating fast and he couldn't think of what to do now...
