Chapter 5

“Oh my god~~~~” Eunhye screams inside her heart.

Eunhye stares right into Shin’s eyes and she could feel a chill running down her spine as his eyes smile back at her!

Shin started to respond to the unexpected morning greeting as Eunhye’s body went totally numb. She wanted to move away and not receive that kiss yet her body is not doing anything to fight back! Worst of all, Shin now have her in his embrace!! Blood engorged her lips and Eunhye felt them burn, but at the very same instant, Eunhye’s willpower took over before her body and soul betrays her!

Eunhye pushed herself against Shin’s chest to break free from his hug and kiss. Her unknown warrior force threw herself back and she fell sitting down onto the carpeted floor.


Thud!


“Ouch!!!!!” Eunhye screams in pain. The pain didn’t come from her burning lips but from her bruised bottom!

Shin sits himself up on the bed and didn’t wipe away that smile.

“Good morning Eunhye … ss” Shin cut short of greeting her ‘ssi’ since CT, Shin and Eunhye had all wanted to be less formal and friendly with each other.

Eunhye remains seated on the floor, one hand rubbing her bruise and using the other hand’s back of the palm to wipe her lips.

“What an unusual morning greeting! Is this how you would greet me every day from now? Although I’d just said it last night that you should knock on the door before coming in… if that’s the case then you may have my permission not to knock the door in the morning…” Shin chuckled.

Having heard his words, Eunhye blushed but tried to defend herself. She’s not an easy girl, who does he think she is?!

“No!! I only wanted to check if you are alright here…. And I’m not who you think I am ok! I had merely lost my balance and ………..” Eunhye didn’t know how to continue, she couldn’t possibly let him know that it was her first kiss!

Although Eunhye has had a boyfriend before but they separated just one week into their relationship, so they didn’t had the chance to get to that stage of sharing a couple’s first kiss.

“Anyway, I’m here to let you know that breakfast is ready.”

“Alright, I’ll wash up and come right down in a jiffy… if you could leave me for now… I am not fully dressed under the sheets…” Shin teased her.

Eunhye’s telling eyes went wide as she tries to fight away the imagination creeping into her mind.

Shin nodded at her, seeming to affirm what is on her mind.

“Oh no!! He could read my mind?!” the alarm went off in Eunhye’s heart.

Eunhye blushed like a tomato and quickly pick herself off the floor and ran out the room at the speed of lightning…. Only to return 2 seconds later to grab the door knob and close the door firmly shut behind her.

Shin sat there smiling for awhile, couldn’t help counting this incident as one of his blessings!




Outside the door, Eunhye stood there frozen in her own thoughts again.

“There goes my first kiss!”

“All my fantasies about it being a romantic one…. Aigooooooooo” Eunhye pouts her lips and pretend to cry.

"hmm...."

“At least he’s not a bad looking guy…. and a superstar to be… Its not my lost right good Lord?” Her pout turns into a foolish grin and she can’t believe that these thoughts were from her own mind. Where did the Yoon Eunhye of yesterday gone to?



As Shin walks down the stairs he used his fist to ‘hammer’ himself around the aching parts of his body, serves him right for falling asleep in the armchair! Fortunately he woke an hour later and washed up before crawling into bed, or else his neck would be even stiffer than now!



“What do we have for breakfast today?”

“Bacon, eggs and orange juice!” Eunhye looks up smilingly at Shin and replied him, trying to sound her usual self to forget about the whole incident few moments ago.

“Wow, you know what I like! Did CT tell you to make this?”

“Nope she didn't… I just looked at what’s inside the fridge just now and decided to come up with this, there isn’t any rice so I can’t cook you a good Korean breakfast.”

“This is perfectly fine with me, thanks for making breakfast for me.” Shin thanks Eunhye, the appreciation genuinely glowing in his eyes.

“This feels like you are the wife making breakfast for the husband…” Shin teases Eunhye as he takes a big gulp of the orange juice.

“Ymmmm, this is nice! Its different from the normal orange juice I had before. Just what did you add inside? You didn’t add poison to it right? Taking revenge?” Shin’s face turned pale at the thought of it.

“woahahhahahaahah! You guessed it right!!”

“You~~~~~~~~~~~” Shin grabbed his throat, pretending to faint.

“I added lemon detergent to it, hiak hiak hiak…” Eunhye gave a diabolic grin before bursting into laughter.

“Nahhhh, I’m an Angel sent from Heaven you know” Eunhye grins at Shin.

“It was lemon grass.” Eunhye finally owns up, telling Shin what was the special ingredient that she had added to the juice.

“Ahh…. Hahahaha… I’m pulling your leg too! Thank you Angel!”

“Let’s get out of the house after we are done.” Shin said.

“Where to? Aren’t you suppose to be concentrating on writing your song compositions?”

“That’s right!”

Eunhye looked at Shin blankly, not getting what he’s trying to get at.

“Composing doesn’t need to be done alone or indoors. I get inspirations from people walking down the street, ajummas in the shiktang (korean restaurants/eating houses), or even from ajushis at the namtang, chatting with you…..”

“Ah… drawing inspirations from everyday life….”

“Aigoo…. You are so smart!” Shin pinched Eunhye on both her cheeks.

Eunhye’s cheeks didn’t turn red because of Shin’s pinching but she was really blushing from the body contact….



“Let’s go get ready!”
